Registration and booking confirmation

Every registration has to be combined with a deposit of an amount of 30% of the total price. From the deposit payment, the registration is firm and definitive and lead to the acceptance of the following general terms and conditions.

Balance payment

The balance of the stay has to be paid :

  • The day of arrival if it is paid by cash or holiday voucher
  • 30 days before arrival if it is paid by cheque, bank transfer or money order.

In case of a reduction of the stay duration (for any reason) the total price of the initial stay must be paid.

Prices

Prices are all taxes included and are composed of :

  • Access to the accommodations, charges included
  • Bed sheets and bathroom towels (beds are prepared for the arrival except for beds in the living room and baby’s cot)
  • TV with TNTsat channels
  • Water, electricity, heating, and wood for the fireplace
  • If the stay lasts more than 4 days, bathroom towels will be changed during the stay
  • Internet connection and Wi-Fi access upon request
  • Cleaning fees at the end of the stay are not included.

Tenant’s cancelation

Every cancelation has to be notified by registered letter to the Gîte Le Moulin.
In that case, from the 30th day before the stay, the following charges will be retained :

  • Between the 30th and 15th day before arrival : 25% of the total price
  • Between the 14th and 8th day before arrival : 50% of the total price
  • 7 days or less before arrival : 75% of the total price
  • In case of no-show at the location of your stay, we will retain 100% of the total price.

Welcome and key collection

Welcome and key collection will occur in the gite. The tenant agree to be there on the excepted day, during reception hours and to pay the guarantee that same day.
If these conditions are not satisfied, the Gite Le Moulin may refuse key collection and rent the accommodation within 24 hours.
Accommodations are available from 4pm on the day of arrival and departure time is at 10am.
If the departure is after 10:30am, an extra cost of 30€ will be invoiced.
In case of late arrival, the tenant needs a prior agreement with the gite to organise his welcome.

Inventory, cleanliness, and deterioration

Every complaints regarding the inventory of the accommodation, equipment or cleanliness have to be made within 24 hours following the arrival. After, the tenant will be tacitly considered agree with the exactness of the inventory of accommodation, equipment and cleanliness.
The tenant has to declare every deterioration or damage that occurred during his stay.
None of the objects placed in an apartment must be moved in an other. Every object moved from one apartment to an other will be considered as missing or damaged, they will be charged to their price, or the cost necessary to clean and fix them up. In case of degradation of the place (walls, ceilings, paints, sanitary equipments or other), the tenant will have to repay repairs price to the Gite le Moulin regarding the estimation.

Guarantee

A security deposit of 300€ has to be given at key collection. The customer must leave the apartment clean, and follow the rules : - Furniture back in place - Oven, fridge and dishwasher clean and empty - Dishes clean and tidy - Bins empty and thrown away - Sheets removed and placed on each beds. We propose a cleaning fee of 50 to 80€ according the duration of the stay, with at least dishes clean and tidy, fridge, oven clean and empty and garbage thrown away.

We will give you back the security deposit at the end of the stay or at the latest within the 15 days following your stay (in case of departure out of regular hours, after deduction of all costs for potential damages, identified in a contradictory departure inventory established on your demand. In default of this demand, we will proceed unilaterally.)

Cottage rules

Rules and regulations are at your disposal in each apartment. Please read them carefully and respect them. It is strongly forbidden to smoke in both apartments.

Security

Customers will have to be careful to correctly close down doors and windows of their apartment when they are leaving.

Cars can be parked on the carpark (but not guarded) and a spot is at your disposal in front of both apartment to unload your vehicle. We recommend you not to leave any personal belongings or valuable objects in the vehicles.

During the stay

The tenant will have to respect the quiet spirit of the accommodation and use it in accordance with the destination of the place.
The tenant must make a good use of the rented place and furnitures. The apartment rented includes furniture, TV, oven, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, bedding, sheets, bathroom towels. The apartment rental is for a maximum number of person.
Every infraction will result in an additional penalty of 15€ per person and per day. All without prejudice to any other damages.

Pets

Pets are welcome with prior agreement.

However, they must not wander alone, being off-leash and be locked alone in the apartment. Every damage caused by an animal will be entirely invoiced to the tenant (purchase value). The amount will be automatically withdrawn on the security deposit and completed by the tenant if the amount is higher.
